I can start this off with a little poem or some nice passage about how my daughter affects my life. I can speak of sunshine and flowers blooming and a the cool breeze comforts my heart. Or I can get to the real deal of having a daughter and being a single parent. Yeah that’s what I will do. I know there are plenty of single mothers and fathers out there who do a great job at raising there children. This is by any means a complaint of being a single father just a reflection of how things flow in my little world. However I do have a greater respect for single parents trying to juggle life, love, family and themselves. Although there are tough times that arise I also find good and humorous times that seem to pop up unexpectedly. This is my journal of My Daughter, My Life.

To live your life without regrets. Understanding there are many steps in achieving your dreams. Realizing every step you take can lead to better things. Taking all that you learn and making it your own. Not following society but creating your own. Finding happiness in all things genuine from family to friends as well as your enemies. Pursuing your dreams even when they seem so far away. Allowing your beliefs be your guide and not going a stray. Its a collection of thoughts that create your path. Remembering even though your journey gets serious sometimes you have to stop and laugh. Believing in yourself and the abilities you have within. The most important thing is staying true and being you. |
